Our story begins not just in a family-run upholstery shop in Boston, Massachusetts, but with a young man named Kostas Konstantinidis, who arrived in America in the early 1980s with nothing but a staple puller and a dream. Born and raised in Athens, Kostas had honed his craft from a young age, apprenticing at a local upholstery shop in his neighborhood. Under the guidance of his mentor, Kostas learned the intricacies of upholstery, from sweeping floors to mastering the fine art of craftsmanship that would become his life’s passion
Today, under the vision of Kostas' son, Yanni, Centro Decor continues to honor that legacy by blending craftsmanship with innovation, making custom pillows and cushions accessible while nurturing relationships grounded in the spirit of Filoxenia.
